Christopher K. Bouck
Prior to forming SDR, Chris was the CFO for a lumber wholesaler with $130 million in annual sales and spent over 10 years as a solo practitioner engaging in transaction and strategic advisory for his clients.
Chris is a member of Entrepreneurs Organization and Vistage International. He is a board member of several portfolio companies financed by SDR.
Chris is a CPA (inactive) and started his career at Deloitte & Touche. He is a graduate of the University of Illinois.
Chris is very involved with the Denver Area Council for the Boy Scouts of America. He enjoys living in Denver with his wife and triplets. Chris and his son are working towards climbing all of the 14,000 foot mountains in Colorado by August 2015.
Travis A. Conway
Travis Conway has 10 years of experience providing strategic and transactional analysis and advisory services. As a Director at SDR Ventures, Travis assists clients in executing mergers and acquisitions, securing equity and debt financing, and implementing strategic initiatives aimed at maximizing shareholder value.
Prior to joining SDR, Travis was a consultant at Ernst & Young in the Fraud Investigation & Dispute Advisory Services practice where he assisted Fortune 500 clients in managing risk, investigating alleged misconduct, and measuring the financial implications of disputes. Prior to Ernst & Young, Travis was a consultant at Navigant Consulting in the Financial Advisory practice, where he focused on financial service industry-related investigations, disputes and litigation.
Travis earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from Trinity University. At Trinity University, Travis was a President’s Scholar and member of the baseball team.
Travis is a Colorado Native and lives in Greenwood Village with his wife and son. He and his wife are expecting their second child in the Fall of 2010.
Carol Frank
Carol Frank has over 25 years of experience working with C-level executives and is the founder of three multi-million dollar companies in the pet industry. As a Managing Director at SDR, Carol leads the team in moderating pet industry performance exchanges, and handling pet industry transactions, capital formation and strategic advisory services.
Carol began her career as a CPA with Ernst & Young and subsequently as an executive recruiter specializing in financial professionals.
She has a BBA in accounting from The University of Texas at Austin and an MBA from Southern Methodist University.
Carol is passionate about business, networking, animals and the intersection of the three. She lives in Boulder, Colorado and spends her weekends skiing, running, and spending time with her birds Murphy and Lola.
Ben Rudman
Ben Rudman joined SDR Ventures in 2008. As an analyst, he is responsible for market research, company valuation analysis, and production of marketing materials for mergers and acquisitions.
Prior to joining SDR, Ben worked as a marketing and finance intern at a national restaurant chain where he was responsible for developing and implementing a new model for suggestive selling at franchise stores.
Ben has a Bachelors of Arts in Economics and Business from Cornell College. He lives in Littleton and enjoys weightlifting and spending time with his family.
