David Lazarowitz’s role as Associate includes providing oversight to the analyst team, creating financial models and valuations, performing market analysis and working closely with clients and management teams to fully understand their businesses, financials and strategies. He is also responsible for preparing go-to-market materials. David joined SDR Ventures in 2015 and has his Series 79 securities license.
David previously worked as a capital markets intern for a large single-principal family office, as well as with Neuberger Berman as a member of its mutual fund team. While with the single-principal family office, he was responsible for company analysis and valuation, industry trend analyses and equity research.
David earned his Bachelors of Arts in Finance from the University of Denver. He is a CFA Level 1 candidate.
David has served as a board member for the Aurora Public Schools Foundation since 2015. The organization strives to advance private, non-profit, public and philanthropic partnerships to develop and leverage resources for projects and programs that drive innovation and excellence for nearly 40,000 students, 4,200 teachers and staff across 61 schools. He also serves as Co-Chairman of the board for Hedge Funds Care: Young Professionals Denver, a charity that focuses on preventing and treating child abuse.
Outside of work, David is passionate about golfing, football and cooking.
