Qualifications

Kristy Marshall serves as Senior Manager of Partnerships and Business Development at SDR Ventures. She is responsible for driving engagements across the firm’s key wealth management relationships, strengthening strategic partnerships, and helping amplify the firm’s momentum in the marketplace. Kristy plays a central role in coordinating advocacy efforts, refining outreach strategies, and supporting the firm’s growth initiatives.

Experience

She brings a unique combination of wealth management experience, entrepreneurial leadership, and executive education to the firm’s strategic growth initiatives. Kristy is a former business owner who successfully built and sold her own company, giving her a rare operators perspective within the advisory ecosystem. Having experienced the realities of scaling and exiting a business firsthand, she understands both the strategic and personal considerations involved in a liquidity event. She is deeply passionate about helping founders and their advisors approach pivotal inflection points with clarity, confidence, and thoughtful preparation.

Education

Kristy earned her MBA from the University of Denver, Daniels College of Business. She also holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from Colorado State University.

Interests

Outside of work, Kristy is most often found spending time with her family — frequently on the sidelines of a sports field, cheering on her kids and embracing the pace of a busy, active household.
