According to a recent article in the Denver Business Journal, Denver is the number-one city in the country for small business employees.
The study was released by CardHub and used 10 different metrics to measure results, including hours worked and average wages. Runners up included Boston, Minneapolis, Seattle and San Francisco.
According to the researchers at CardHub, 97 percent of employers in Colorado are listed as small businesses and there are nearly 30 small businesses for every 1,000 residents in the Denver metro area. Additionally, the Denver area boasts the second-fastest growing small business workforce and the fifth-highest wages for new hires.
