Qualifications

Geoff Eliason joined the SDR Ventures team in 2021. In his role as CEO / Principal, Eliason brings 20 years of industry experience to the organization and its clients. His primary responsibilities are building and sustaining operational efficiencies across the firm and maximizing the client service model. Geoff dedicates himself to providing strategic solutions specific to the complexities of the M&A process. Embracing SDR’s firm-wide commitment to serving its clients, Eliason channels his years of experience and strategic relationships towards enhancing business valuations and providing thought leadership to the entrepreneurial community. In 2026, Geoff was named to the Colorado Titan 100, recognizing him as one of the state's top CEOs and C-suite executives for his leadership, vision, and influence in the business community. Geoff holds his Series 79, 24, and 63 securities licenses and serves as SDR Capital Markets Chief Compliance Officer. Eliason is passionate about teamwork given his commitment to both education and athletics. He lives out that passion through his partnership as a board member with the Front Range Christian School of Littleton, CO, and as a board member for Soccer Chaplains United where he drives youth locally and globally to live with purpose, promise, and passion.

Experience

Prior to joining SDR, Geoff was part of the launch team of an Exchange Traded Fund company startup where he went on to experience one of the largest acquisitions of an ETF company on record. He served as the Business Development Officer at Invesco PowerShares, overseeing the largest RIA relationships, family offices, and ETF Strategists for the western half of the U.S. He then went on to acquire, grow, and sell a nationally recognized asset management and wealth management company based in Colorado.

Education

Geoff received both his undergraduate and graduate degrees from Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana.

Interests

He and his wife, Lisa, live in Highlands Ranch, Colorado with their two children, Emma and Logan.
