Qualifications

Koen Browning, Vice President, joined SDR Ventures in 2025. He advises entrepreneurs, business owners, and management teams through all phases of the M&A process, with a focus on businesses in the industrial, infrastructure, and business services sectors. In his role, Koen manages deal execution, oversees members of the production team, and helps drive business development initiatives.

Experience

Before joining SDR, Koen was an Associate at Industria Partners, an investment bank specializing in industrials, infrastructure, energy, and climate sectors. During his tenure, he executed numerous sell-side and buy-side transactions across these industries. Earlier in his career, he worked as an Analyst at Stifel.

Education

Koen holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance and Computer Information Systems from Colorado State University.

Interests

Koen is a member of a Golden, Colorado–based cycling team, enjoys spending time outdoors, and traveling with his wife – especially if it’s to a Formula 1 race.
